Advice on how to cover a skin mark with specialist camouflage products which conceal marks and blend with surrounding skin.

A consultation takes approximately one hour and one visit is usually sufficient to teach you how to conceal blemishes. This will include specifying products and where to purchase them.

You may wish for advice on how to use camouflage products if you have any skin change or condition such as:

·         Acne

·         Albinism

·         Birth marks

·         Burn

·         Cancer affecting  the skin

·         Cleft lip

·         Disfigurement

·         Eczema

·         Lupus

·         Port Wine stain

·         Psoriasis

·         Scar

·         Tattoos not wanted

·         Thread veins

·         Trauma

·         UV sensitivity

·         Vitiligo

The creams and setting powders are different to ordinary cosmetics as they are:

·        Hypoallergenic and perfume free.

·        Contain ultra-violet sun protecting properties.

·        Can be removed and immediately reapplied with no adverse effect.

Once the camouflage is correctly applied and set it is designed to be:

·        waterproof

·        smudge and smear resistant

·        easily mixed to continually match your skin tone

Camouflage is long lasting and will continue to look good

·        on facial skin for up to 8-12 hours

·        on trunk or limbs for up to 2-3 days

Eye shadow , blusher (pressed powder) lipstick and water -based cosmetic foundations can be applied over the  camouflage.

Some camouflage creams used are available through the NHS and can be prescribed by your doctor or ordered by your local pharmacy. Products can be ordered from the manufacturers or distributors as well.
